Tech Tool Evaluation

Valentina Fajardo's tech tool from the last time was AWW.

Liked:
1. I really liked the fact that you can share what you did so everybody can see it.
2. When using the app i also like that it can be done like with other people by collaborating and accessing from ipad, computers, cellphones and may more
3. I like that the app is simple to manage; so it doesn't need like a huge registration or anything you just draw/sketch what you want.

Change:
1. I would  put more options of colors, there's just the regular ones, puting more colors would probably make people want to do things over again.
2. If you would like to do it like more professional or something i would put more things you can put into the app like adding pictures and things making it more interesting as well.
3.AS you can add text, it comes out to be just the regular text and it doesn't give you like the option to change the color of the kind of letter you want, so that i would probably change.

Use:
1. you can use this tool if you want to do a  visual representation of something.
2. If you are just bored you can just sketch for a while and it will be just as if it was a paper.

Liked.
1. I really like that its not only reminders of like written but you can post pictures, documents, notes and many more.
2. I also really like that you can be doing something else but you can have those reminders that are really important so that you don't forget everything and you can actually share what you did and your friends can also acces it.
3. What i like the most about this app is the design it has, its perfect like "stiky notes" the size of them so you can put many thing and it would be extremly organized for people that are not that organized just like me.

Change:
1. I really liked this app i think it has really cool stuff to do and its really diffcult to think what i would change, but i would add videos, imagine if you could post videos, it would be amazing
2. I would also probably make like sections also so it would be even more organized
3. I would liek to be able to create all the amazing things you can create in Stixy more online stuff so things that dont have to be saved on the computer.

Use:
1. i can really see me using this app on daily basis  this can help you to remeber stuff for example a friends birthday, a doctors appointment and many more
2. This can also help you in projects and stuff done with other people as you can share everything.

Viruses

When someone talks about a virus what i imidietly think it is that your computer was like "haked" or because you opend lets say a link or entered a page that has this virus then the people who create that virus can have do stuff in your computer including entering you email and just being in your stuff.

This topic brings alot of questions to myself. Some of those questions are..
-What can you do if your computer get a virus?
-How do to figure out that your computer has a virus?
-What can a virus do to your computer?
-Does the person that made the virus and it got into your computer see what you are doing and turn opn programs like your webcam so they can see you?

• "A computer virus is a small software program that spreads from one computer to another and interferes with computer operation. A computer virus might corrupt or delete data on a computer, use an email program to spread the virus to other computers, or even delete everything on the hard disk.Computer viruses are frequently spread by attachments in email messages or by instant messaging messages. Therefore, you must never open an email attachment unless you know who sent the message or you are expecting the email attachment. Viruses can be disguised as attachments of funny images, greeting cards, or audio and video files. Computer viruses also spread through downloads on the Internet. They can be hidden in pirated software or in other files or programs that you might download."  this defenition i found it in this very reliable website

• In this website I could find out that its really important to keep getting updates of avoiding viruses or else its easier for the virus to have a newer software than the one your computer has. 

• In this website i could find out that its extremely important that you don't open emails from people you don't know, even if they are funny pictures or tempting stuff for you to open, that way is how the viruses get into your computers. Those viruses can not only be transmited by people you don't know but also is a person you do know can be haked and the email could be sent, so be careful if you are not expecting something and it arrives. 

• Trojans: "Trojan Horses, are additions to your system. These malicious programs masquerade as legitimate files in your email, deceiving you into willfully adding them to your hard drive. Trojans rely on you to intentionally open your computer to them. Once on your machine, Trojans then function as independent programs that operate secretly. Commonly, Trojans steal passwords or perform "denial of service" (overload your system) attacks." defenition was taken out of here. As you read about the trojans they are this additions that can damage and take alot of information private information you had. so try avoid getting those trojans. 

• Worms: "Internet Worms, are also unwanted additions to your system. Worms are different from Trojans, though, because they copy themselves without your direct assistance... they robotically worm their way into your email, and begin broadcasting copies of themselves without permission. Because they do not require user intervention to reproduce, worms reproduce at an alarming rate. Examples of worms include". this defentioin was also taken out of here. Worms as they call them and you read about them you can see that they work totally by their own way and damage alot of your stuff and can even spread viruses as they can work at a amazing speed.  

• In order to remove a virus you need to run an online scan, this scan will determine what virus you had and help you delete it, this will also delete your hard disk and hopefully help your computer run better. Also before you scan it you might want to follow this steps. website

• In order for you to know that you have a virus you are going to get several clues like:

          -your computer is running slow 

          - if you computer asks you for more memory card

          - if you get unexpected messages

          - programs start automatically without you ordering them to start 

          

so if you are getting some of those alerts make sure to check on programs like the scan we talked about before.  website

This topic is really important for our everyday lives because we live in a society that is full of technology and technology brings its bad things and you need to be careful to what you open what to do in the internet because viruses can then appear in your computer. Nobody wants to have a virus because that implicated alot of problems that can evolve and become really bad. so this is something we need to be extremely aware of. 

I still wonder if there are some viruses that dont give you c=any clues that they are there so you will never find out that they are there. 

Second research day

Still i dont know what kind of univeristy i want, but what i do want is to go to a university that has many programs that have to do with community helping and programs  for volunteer to help people.

Goals:
-Today my main goal to accomplish is to make photos cloned.
-continue with the trying of making pictures of messi and me
- keep doing collages of specific themes.

As my biggest goal was to learn how to clone.. well im working on it, so the first cloned picture was one that I had edited before... this photo was edited in the website http://fotoflexer.com/  the second one also was edited in the same website, and i think im getting better... Im going to try layer on maybe combine the cloning or something.

Today when I worked with collages I liked using like the same scenario what i mean is using like the same day, so in this collage you can see messi training.


Next day that we work on our project i will like to try to change the layers and background of the pictures because I fill that today i finished becoming like very good at collages.. maybe continue cloning also because i really like that.

Goals:
1. My first goal is start putting new backgrounds in the photos, change like the scene it is in.

Something that I did last minute was to edit or try to because I failed to do a picture besides messi.. this was a fail so im hoping that next time i can do better. 

and the last edit i did was try to put my hair longer, thats a obcesion that i have that my hair is solong that its almost to the lenght of my hips. yeyy as you can see in the picture above my hair was until there and know its on the picture as you see it.

Search Stories is another way of expressing your thoughts and ideas not by wrtiting huge paragraphs or jornals, its a visual way in which you tell a story or narrate it that has a cronological like sequence. Its the same as telling a story but the difference it that talking is rare while music happens normaly throughtout all the video.

In order to make a short stories you need to follow some steps:

after you get there i asume you already have a theme of the story and using that theme you need to start filling in the search terms.

this tool is really usefull foir other students because its a really entretained way of seeing a story that also doesnt take a long time to do neither to watch and its really cool...

1.i agree that its true that people do things that they couldnt to in person obecause no one is whatching and or the person feels safe by computer

2.i agree that what tha lady says that  you may be in the same room but everyone is with na diffrent technological tool. and that needs to have boundaries

impresive and i dont  agree that people should stay up all night just playing games there has to de a limit

-I personally dont know anything about hosting services.. the only thing i can think of when i hear "hosting services" is like services so like something you offer or can do and hosting well at least of what i know is like a hoast of if you are running somehting you are the hoast like "owner in another word"


-before i start gathering information about my topic i would like to know well for a starter what is it? who uses it? why do people or who ever uses it use it?

* hosting services also give you advices and orientation to what to chose and what not.

whnat i basiclly  understood that hosting services are is a place in a computer which has a information stored that people can access in many places called a data center. this helps for internet to be faster, ask question, advice you and many more. now that i know that places inline like this exist i can really connect it to my daily life in the part that HS may be what we use for the internet to be faster, how we share isdeas, photos and many more with friends and relatives. this i think is a really complete topic that has alot of branches that maybe i would like to go depear.

this website was really helpfull because it was really easy to put all the phtos together making a collage which came out to be really cool. this website also was really cool because you could add effects to  every individual picture. 

this website i made a collage it was really good because depending on what you chose it gave you a different effect.

todaay was a really cool day becuase i got to explore and find out all the things that those amazing websites have, its not only the photos i editied with the last effect but that all of them had many for the futre.

next class i could like to learn more about like photo shop that means more of a retouching and so not only effects.

For my google project i would really like to lear how to edit photos. editing photos not only like colors or so but use a technique called "Use textures to lighten up plat images". that includes making and puting efeects on  photos so that in the end they can look better and brithger in many cases. another skill i would like to learn is how to do is landscape photography. i researching how to do landscape photos is making sure how to learn the effects and the contgrasts it involves, saturation is also really important and sharpen, all of those are really important things i would like to learn.

This project i would like to show all of the skills i learned and if i did i well and the photo came out well, say what did i do and say it step by step, if i failed i would also say step by step what i did and make sure that kind of mistake doesnt happen again. im going to creat a blogger were i can put all of the pictures including before and after and all the steps.
